On some games, it is minimal but noticeable, on others it directly affects performance until you close the game. But the biggest mystery is how specifically does Denuvo affect the game? There is no clear indication except expectations based off of other games that have had it. On one hand, you have Bandai's servers where the matches are being played off of, and then you have your home connection. What makes this especially confounding is that it's not clear what the source of the inconsistent delay is. I'm morbidly fascinated by the hour-long window in the early morning hour (EST/CST) where every match you play is almost always guaranteed to be in slo-mo no matter how good the connection to your opponenet that you have and vice-versa. In a game where you have to pull off split-second blocks and reactions, this is laughable. Every other match I've played has been consistently "playable" but there was always a delay that affected performance - and this includes the dozens of other people in the green as well. I can count the amount of matches on one hand that were as fast and seamless as fighting CPUs and it didn't have to do with the signal strength of the opponent (or mine), granted the opponents I've faced were in the green (connection-wise). The performance in this game is all over the place.
